One of Gut Hermannsberg’s / Terroirs or VDP Grosse Lagen / “Grand Crus” that has gained most through climate change! Since 2015 we have bottled a dry GG from our 5,5 hectares / 13.5 acres in this vineyard site every year. Literally a pile of pale-colored rocks (Lemberg porphyry) this extremely steep hill above the Hermannsberg gives sleek wines that have a combination of salty minerality and austere elegance comparable with top Chablis. We also produce a rich, but very refined Spätlese from here.
