Our 2018 Felsenberg GG was not only awarded 94 points from Gourmetwelten Magazine in their “Grand Cru” Cup, but it was also declared the champion of the Nahe, gaining the highest rating for a 2018 single vineyard dry wine in the region. GHB’s 2018 Steinberg GG also did extremely well with 92 points.

Karsten Peter has been winemaker for Gut Hermannsberg for 6 years and from his first vintage he has been showered with accolades. In 2013 both the Sunday edition of the Frankfurter Allgemeine Zeitung (the FAZ is Germany’s equivalent of the New York Times) and the Gault Millau Wine Guide named him “Rising Star Winemaker of the Year”. Now the FAZ has named Karsten Peter “Winemaker of the Year”
