2020 Kupfergrube GG ist ein expressiver Wein, der in der Nase Aromen von Orangenschale und Maracuja, sowie tief rauchige Noten zeigt.
Am Gaumen präsentiert unser Kupfergrube GG Reserve extreme Kräuterwürze, zudem Feuersteinaromen und ein druckvolles Säuregerüst.
Im Nachhall zeigt sich die so typische kräftige Mineralität, die zu tiefer Vielschichtigkeit führt.

Unforgettable, the panorama of the Kupfergrube’s mighty terraces! At the beginning of the 20th century untold thousands of hours of work turned a former copper mine (Kupfergrube in German) and the rocky scrub around it into this majestic vineyard. Respect for that enormous engineering achievement and for the breathtaking depth of the Riesling wines that grow there. The volcanic melaphry soil of this legendary south-facing vineyard gives them a smoky note and a fascinating warm spiciness. The Kupfergrube GG Reserve tastes as sublime as the view of this wall of vines reaching for the heavens!
