At the latest Queen Elizabeth II of the United Kingdom first drank a Riesling from the Nahe State Domain, now Gut Hermannsberg, on the 25th October 1971 when the German President Dr. Gustav Heinemann served her a 1969 Kupfergrube Spätlese at a banquet in Buckingham Palace.The queen was served wines from the estate on several further occasions and she served the 1959 KupfergrubeTrockenbeerenauslese at the marriage of her son Charles Prince of Wales to Lady Diana Spencer on the 29th July 1981.
