At the marriage of Lady Diana Spencer and Charles Prince of Wales on 29th July 1981, the 1959 Kupfergrube Riesling Trockenbeerenauslese from Gut Hermannsberg was served. It was neither the first nor the last time that a wine from the estate was served by the Royal Family of the United Kingdom.
