Karsten Peter
Karsten Peter became the winemaker and co-director of Gut Hermannsberg in 2009 after having previously made wine in the Nahe, Rheinhessen and in the Pfalz, where he was born and grew up. His wines are deeply inspired by the great wines made at the estate between the first vintage in 1907 and the early 1990s, but are never nostalgic. Instead he uses modern technology to realize a 21st century interpretation of the traditional wine style at Gut Hermannsberg.
