You might think that with our 7 terroirs or VDP Grosse Lagen / “Grand Crus”Gut Hermannsberg would seek a partner wine estate in Burgundy, for example, the Domaine de la Romanée Conti in Vosne-Romanée has land in 8 Grand Crus and almost exacty the same vineyard area as us. However, we feel that as a result of climate change we have more to learn from winemakers who are producing high quality dry whites (our specialty!) in warm climates. This was one reason we partnered with Sphera Winery in the Judean Hills of Israel in early 2020.
