Our famous vineyards lie within the breathtaking, picturesque landscape of the Nahe Valley and our guesthouse stands between them like a diamond in a setting.
Here, in splendid isolation, is the perfect place to escape the hurly-burly of the workaday world, to chill and to find inspiration.
Already the drive through the twisting and rugged Nahe Valley, past the gigantic Rotenfels cliffs (the highest inland cliffs north of the Alps!) with a narrow strip of scree at their foot to which the vines of the Bastei vineyard cling too, then past the Niederhausen dam and the widened river behind is an effective decelerator for the soul. Then the road climbs through the steep vineyards to Gut Hermannsberg and you pass by our spectacular, world-famous Hermannsberg and Kupfergrube sites. Between them stands our guesthouse, your home from home at our nearby end of the world.
Our guesthouse is an ideal starting point for hiking or cycling expeditions through the surrounding vineyards and forests or along the riverbank. Or just hang, admire the stunning views and savor our equally stunning wines! All of this is just one hour’s drive from Frankfurt Airport!
